Voting is enabled now and will remain active until the closing on February 20 at 11:59 PM. Please keep in mind that you can continue to submit designs until the 20th but that they may be at a disadvantage in the voting. Votes can be changed up to the 20th, so you still have a chance.
The voting this year works like it does on digg.com or reddit.com. You can vote up or down for any of the designs using the arrows beneath the title for each design. It is not necessary to vote for all of them. Just vote for the few designs that you like. The site calculates the total 'up' votes minus the total 'down' votes for each submission and sorts them based on that total.
Anyone is eligible to submit designs. Submit as many as you like. All submissions go into a moderator queue to verfiy formatting and weed out bogus submissions.
Submit an image in GIF, JPG, or PNG format. The dimensions should be of the ratio 54x9, because those are the dimensions of a finished scarf not including the fringes. It is best to save your design in a 540x190 file, where each side of the scarf is 540x90 pixels and there is a 10 pixel gap between them. We'll order the scarves from the manufacturer with fringes on them, so it is not necessary to show them in your design. If you want to include fringes in your design, add extra width to your file to accomodate them. Further assistance may be had by emailing Andy at firstname.lastname@example.org.
