Two More Games Ahead In The Great Northwest - What Does The Coach Have To Say About It?
By Bruce
The Thunder travel to the West Coast again this weekend, and will play two of the First Divisions best teams: Seattle on Saturday the 13th, and Vancounver on Sunday the 14th. Head man Amos Magee gives Blue Sky a little hindsight and insight.

BSS: With a few days to reflect how do you feel about the game last Saturday in Portland (a 2-1 loss)?

AM: We struggled keeping possession and we hope to do this better in both of these games.

BSS: Any new injuries to report?

AM: No new injuries.

BSS: Will you be taking any different players then last weekend with you?

AM: We will see the season debut of Freddy Juarez and Nate Winkel. Godfrey Tenoff is back and looks pretty sharp but we are not taking him on this road trip.  Zafer Kilickan has recovered and will travel.

BSS: What do you expect from Seattle?

AM: Seattle will be much better than they were when we saw them in April. I don't know if the Cuban Maykel Galindo will play after breaking his nose vs. Chivas USA (editors note: his nose was broken in a collision with former long-time Seattle keeper Preston Burpo who now plays for Chivas), but they return their charismatic captain in Danny Jackson. They also return Andrew Gregor who has been an all-star in this league. Also returning some tough hard-working players in Klaas and Scott. It is their home opener they will be flying.

BSS: How about Vancouver?

AM: Vancouver is tough and organized with some crafty attacking players.  I don't think we have won in BC in about 6 years.  It will be difficult on the back end of a back to back.

As always check the top of the front page of Blue Sky for details on the matches and on any potential broadcasts of the games at hand.
